1) Walk your home room by room
- Replace light bulbs
- Clean out clogged drains
- Tighten door handles, towel racks, and railings
2) Walk the outside of your home
- Trim plants back from your house
- Remove debris from your roof and gutters
- Touch up paint
- Sweep off the front porch and consider adding some color to your porch, first impressions are a big deal
3) Think safety and make the necessary corrections
