Skiing & Snowboarding @ Mt. Bachelor

Only 22 miles outside of Bend, Oregon along the Century Divide Highway, Mt. Bachelor is a great ski destination that includes a modern lift infrastructure and updated amenities. The ski area is known for having great snow quality and large expansive terrain. As one of the highest mountains in the area, Mt. Bachelor offers 360 degree views from its summit.

Ice Skating @ The Pavilion

In December 2015, Bend Park & Recreation District opened The Pavilion in Bend, Central Oregon’s first and only full NHL-sized ice rink complete with full dasher boards and a state-of-the art refrigeration system ensuring quality ice even in marginal weather conditions. The 30,000-square foot roof and translucent side panels keep skaters protected from the elements while maintaining an open-air feel, and the outdoor plaza, fire pits, lobby, toasty warm viewing area, changing rooms, and concession area ensure this facility has everything you need to make your ice skating fantasies a reality. The Bend Ale Trail

Pick up your passport at the Bend Visitor Center or any of the 14 breweries that are part of the program. Then sip your way from brewery to brewery gathering passport stamps and sampling hoppy IPAs, malty porters, and unique seasonal selections you’ll only find in the pubs.

Old Mill Carriage Rides

With a pickup located between Ben & Jerry’s and Francesca’s, complimentary carriage rides are offered with Cowboy Carriage. All ages are bound to enjoy the clippity-clop open air tour through the joyful atmosphere in the Old Mill District. Tips and donations benefit Kid’s Center.
