La Pine

About La Pine

With its hometown slogan, “The Outdoors at Your Front Door”, La Pine is a bastion for outdoors adventures and some of the most scenic landscapes in Deschutes County.

Located in central Oregon, La Pine is a community tucked away in a forest of statuesque pine trees, near the crystal-clear Cascade Lakes. La Pine is also located near the Newberry National Volcanic Monument which boasts challenging climbing/hiking areas for even the most seasoned outdoorsman.

Some other natural attractions include the major Deschutes and Little Deschutes Rivers that run in close proximity to downtown La Pine.

Things to Do in La Pine

La Pine also offers residents plenty of other recreational options including, but not limited to: La Pine Frontier Days, a 4th of July celebration that serves to spotlight the yearly efforts of local businesses and volunteers; the La Pine Rodeo, a large-scale competition that brings talent from across the county to square off in a weekend-long rodeo competition around Independence Day; and Quail Run Golf Course, touted as one of the “best 18-hole, public golf courses in central Oregon”.

La Pine Amenities

Because of La Pine’s location in central Oregon, the 35-square-mile town enjoys a lower cost of property acquisition which includes commercial and light-industrial land parcels. This attribute allows for businesses to thrive in the area.

Residents, new and old, will have the opportunity to make an impact on everything that has (and will continue to) make La Pine one of the premiere areas of Deschutes County. The question remains: How will you make your impact?
